• We shouldn't need any additional information to process your upgrade apart from the information we collect before checkout. In the unlikely event that we need additional information, we will reach out to you via the contact information you provide.

Benefit Access:

• Space and/or availability dependent benefits such as complimentary First Class upgrades may dependent may be unavailable on some flights is capacity does not meet demand for the flight.
• All other benefits will always be available, including free checked bags and lounge access.

Validity:

• Valid for 3 months from the date of activation on your account
• Can be renewed via repurchase (you will be issued a new Rapid Rewards account number at that time)

Eligibility Criteria:

• You have never received a Southwest status upgrade before or you provide consent for us to create a new account on your behalf.
  
• If you have already received a Southwest status upgrade before, please type "NEWACC" in the Rapid Rewards Account Number field when ordering to let us know we have your consent to create a new account number for your status.
